If you would prefer, we also offer the opportunity to put your tent up in our large garden and sleep beneath the stars (which are magnificent on a clear night!). There are shower and toilet facilities available in the house and we offer the hospitality of breakfast and 6 evening meals around our dining room table. You will be camping, but with the luxury of having all your meals cooked for you!
With its dragon chandelier suspended from high vaulted ceilings over the rustic banqueting table, the communal minstrels gallery playing area, music corner and a vast garden to play in, everyone can find their favourite cosy corner in the barn.
Put your tent up in our large garden and sleep under the stars. Magnificent on a clear night! There are shower and toilet facilities inside the house and you get to eat breakfast and six evening meals round our large dining room table with everyone else. Like camping but without the cooking (and washing up).
Our garden is great for games of cricket, football, bouncing on the trampoline, toasting marshmallows and singing around the occasional campfire, the weekly BBQ and splashing in the inflatable pool! A horticultural haven it is not. Yet. You also get to use all the facilities inside when it gets too wet or too hot to be inside a tent.
We think this small part of France is ideal for family cycling- stunning countryside, beautiful canal and (almost) no cars.
There’s no fixed programme; explore for yourselves – wild swimming, water sports, ice cream and chips, beautiful gardens, or the boulangerie for a baguette! All an hour or two’s gentle bimble and always with the promise of a pick up if things get too much.
No moving on, no rushing to get to the next place just a copious meal at the end of the day that you haven’t had to cook yourself. Agréable non?

We can provide a wide variety of bikes and accessories, including trailers, kids bikes, pull-along bikes and helmets.
You can bring your own bikes! They will be securely stored on our premises.
